Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are international goals under an agenda adopted at the UN Summit in September 2015. They run until 2030 with the purpose of putting the world on a sustainable path toward a better future for all. The agenda comprises 17 goals and 169 targets, and while the SDGs are universal in nature—meaning that developing and developed countries alike will strive to achieve them—each nation will address the process individually at a national level
We acknowledge the importance of analyzing and understanding the risks and opportunities inherent in the 17 SDGs and the management strategies related to each of these goals from the perspective of our sustainable growth. Toward this end, we have established the transcosmos SDGs Committee, which is specifically designed for aligning our business and management resources with our SDG initiatives, setting targets prioritizing social issues of particular significance, and confirming the progress on a regular basis.
With the aim of raising awareness and permeating our SDG initiatives, the committee runs various SDG-driven activities both internally and externally including SDGs training courses for our employees (e-learning), internal workshops with the selected members from each function, and more.

We have developed and implemented an environmental management system that complies with the international standard for environment systems “ISO14001.” Also, by providing services that lead to the enhancement of operational efficiency and manpower optimization, and environmentally-friendly services, we have been contributing to our clients and society in reducing environmental impacts. Internally, we have also been engaging in a variety of environmental protection and conservation initiatives, including the promotion of energy and resource conservation.
